Iran has revealed Fattah, its first hypersonic missile, which it claims would give it a military advantage and can pierce missile defense systems.

The missile has a range of 1,400 km (870 miles), is capable of moving at speeds of up to Mach 15 (5,145 meters or 16,880 feet per second), has an adjustable secondary nozzle, and uses solid propellants for great mobility.

Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said,” Israel can best any Iranian weapon”.

As tensions over Tehran’s nuclear program remained high, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant dismissed Iranian allegations that it had created a new hypersonic missile on Tuesday. He asserted that Israel will always have a method to defeat it.

Rafael Grossi, the chairman of the International Atomic Energy Agency, expressed worry when Iran announced it was building a hypersonic missile in November. Hypersonic missiles, like slower ballistic missiles, may be fitted with nuclear warheads.
